Rules
These rules apply in the game, on this website and in every other service of Cryptera. Obey the law. Nothing you do here may break it. No cheating. Cheating is: a bot, a macro or anything else that plays for you; another client, or a program that reads or changes the game; using a bug on purpose (please report the bugs you find); two characters online at the same time; taking over other people's accounts. Names. Names of characters and guilds, guild ranks and titles may not be offensive, brag about cheating (such as "Bot Lord") or pose as staff (such as "Game Master Rob"). Medieval fantasy names are encouraged. Staff and reports. Do not pretend to be staff or to have a say in their decisions. Do not report anyone for something you know they did not do; a report made in good faith that turns out wrong is fine. Talk. Do not advertise other games, other servers or anything unrelated to Cryptera, and keep each channel to its topic. Do not urge anyone to break these rules, boast about breaking them or mislead people about them. House auctions. Bid only what you mean to pay, never just to push a price up. The winning bid and the rent are taken from the depot at the next server restart: if the money is not there, the house is lost, the account is banned for 7 days and the character may not bid for 7 days. Unjustified kills. Killing a character who has no skull and did not attack you is unjustified, and the game keeps count: 3 in a day, 5 in a week or 10 in a month bring a red skull, and 6, 10 or 20 an automatic ban.
